Montana's importance to our rafting business

Wed, 04/23/2014 - 15:46

I cannot express how important the people of Montana are to our rafting business here in Idaho. In particular, our closeness to the Bitterroot Valley, provides easy access for guests to hop across the border and raft the Salmon River with Kookaburra Rafting and drive home the same day. Thank you Montana and the Bitterroot Valley. We are here for you.

We guarantee our Salmon River Raft Trips to be a lasting memory for you and your family. Please come to the Salmon River country of East Central Idaho and spend the day with us, Kookaburra Rafting, on Idaho's main Salmon River. We give you a choice of river float, either fast water with hairy rapids or, a scenic float on slower water, if you prefer. Steelhead Fishing on the Salmon River!

Tue, 02/11/2014 - 22:37

February roars in like old man winter and left us with 2 feet of snow and today we are getting some more. After getting all the driveways and trails to cabins and animals we decided we would go snow shoeing, then it started to blow in again. Maybe tomorrow.

Last fall we went scouting for elk and deer, saw allot of beautiful country and wolf tracks it was a little unnerving. But it was a great day to be out in the wilds of Salmon, Idaho. I took some pictures I will share them with you.

But it is time to think about catching a big steelhead its is that time of year, call to make your reservation. It is fun to catch steelhead in a drift boat. Hot soup and sandwiches for lunch with fruit and desert.

What a view of the Bitterroot Mountains.
